Thomas Hardy’s Ale

A serious beer for serious collectors

Thomas Hardy’s Ale is Britain’s rarest ale and is often sought by serious beer collectors and aficionados alike.

Created in 1968 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the death of renowned English writer, the barley wine aptly named Thomas Hardy’s Ale has been released over the years with various breweries. Each batch of the ale are numbered and vintage-dated to be stored for years.

Aurora City Brew Club acquired a collection of the highly sought after ale with bottles spanning from 1986-1997 and will be auctioning off the vertical.

A few of the bottles acquired were sampled and the beer held up extremely well.

This is truly a unique opportunity to purchase one of the rarest beers for your beer cellar
